Heart-supporting infusion

How it works

The intravenous heart-supporting infusion has been developed for people struggling with cardiovascular diseases, reduced exercise capacity and chronic fatigue on exertion.
It is a form of adjunctive therapy that can be used as a complement to treatment provided by a cardiologist or family doctor, as well as prescribed pharmacotherapy and lifestyle changes.
The aim of the infusion is to support the overall condition of the body and the functioning of the circulatory system so that everyday activities are less demanding and better tolerated.
The effects of therapy are always individual, and the decision to use the infusion is made after the doctor has analysed the patient’s health statu

Who it is for

The intravenous heart-supporting infusion may be considered for people:

  • with diagnosed heart diseases (e.g. coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias),

  • experiencing reduced physical capacity, exertional shortness of breath or getting tired more easily than before,

  • with coexisting blood pressure disorders or other cardiovascular risk factors,

  • who are under regular care of a cardiologist or family doctor and have up-to-date medical records and test results.

The infusion does not replace cardiological treatment or any other therapies prescribed by the doctor. It may be considered as part of a therapeutic plan.

How it works – step by step

  1. Contact with reception
The process begins with contacting reception – by phone or via the contact form on the website. You will receive organisational information, including approximate dates and the next steps related to qualification for the infusion.
  2. You complete a qualification form
The next stage is completing a qualification form, in which we ask you to describe your current symptoms (e.g. shortness of breath, heart palpitations, fatigue), coexisting conditions, medications you are taking and to attach any available test results. This is an important safety element – it allows the doctor to prepare better for the consultation.
  3. Qualification and selection of the preparation and dosage by a physician (in the case of patients under 18 years of age)
During the qualification visit, the physician conducts a detailed medical interview and analyzes the medical documentation and test results. Based on this, they decide whether intravenous infusions supporting heart function are an appropriate form of support in your child’s situation. If you are over 18 years of age, the preparation is selected by a specialized nurse.
  4. Scheduling the infusion
After a positive qualification, a date is set for the intravenous heart-supporting infusion and, if needed, an initial plan for further visits. You will receive clear instructions on how to prepare for the infusion, how long your stay in the clinic will take and what recommendations apply after the procedure is completed.
