Personalized probiotic therapy
Individualized support for gut microbiota disorders
At Gabinet Dobrego Snu, in collaboration with Vivere Clinic, we offer a modern approach to supporting patients with gut microbiota disorders. This solution is based on the individualized selection of probiotics following the analysis of a stool sample, rather than relying on random, off-the-shelf products. This matters because the effects of probiotics depend on the specific strain, dose, and indication — not every probiotic works in the same way, and not every one will be suitable for every patient.
A growing body of research shows that the gut microbiota affects not only digestion, but also the functioning of the immune system, the nervous system, and the gut–brain axis. Scientists are also investigating its connection with sleep quality, energy levels, well-being, and the regulation of inflammatory processes. That is why working to restore microbiota balance can be an important part of a broader therapeutic approach.

Who is this solution intended for?
Personalized probiotic therapy may be considered for patients with chronic or recurrent gut microbiota disorders, gastrointestinal complaints, after antibiotic therapy, or when previously used probiotics have not produced the expected effect. It is an option for individuals who need a more precise approach than choosing a standard product available on the market.
This approach may also be particularly worth considering when intestinal problems are accompanied by other health burdens and a physician or specialist sees a rationale for working on microbiota balance as part of a broader health support plan.
Who is this solution for?
This form of support may be beneficial for patients in whom dysbiosis is suspected, meaning an imbalance in the gut microbiota. In this state, beneficial bacteria may be weakened, while undesirable microorganisms gain a greater advantage. In practice, this may be associated with chronic intestinal problems, reduced tolerance of certain therapies, or difficulty restoring the body’s balance after treatment.
This solution may also be considered as a complementary approach in selected patients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PANS, or PANDAS — especially when significant gastrointestinal problems or suspected microbiota imbalance are also present. Current research suggests the potential of microbiota-based therapies in these areas, while also emphasizing that this is still a developing field that requires individualized qualification and careful interpretation of outcomes.

How does it work?
The process has been designed to be simple and transparent.
The patient provides a stool sample, on the basis of which appropriate probiotics are selected to match their individual situation.
The next step is a 20-minute specialist consultation, during which the patient receives information about the recommendations, the price of the recommended preparation, and how it should be taken. At this stage, the decision is made whether to confirm the order.
The following step is payment. Once the payment has been received, the customized preparation is prepared and either shipped to the patient’s home or made available for collection at Gabinet Dobrego Snu.
