Infusion for metabolic disorders

How it works

The intravenous infusion for metabolic disorders is intended for people with abnormalities in metabolic functioning, including those related to body weight and glucose or lipid levels.
It is a form of adjunctive therapy that can be used as a complement to treatment provided by a doctor, prescribed pharmacotherapy and lifestyle changes (diet, physical activity, sleep hygiene).
The aim of the infusion is to support the overall functioning of the body in the course of metabolic disorders, improve everyday wellbeing and accompany the patient in their health journey under medical supervision.
The effects of therapy are individual, and the decision to use the infusion is made by the doctor after analysing the patient’s health status.

Who it is for

The intravenous infusion for metabolic disorders may be considered for people who:
  • have diagnosed or suspected metabolic disorders (e.g. insulin resistance, lipid disorders, certain forms of obesity),
  • experience chronic fatigue, reduced exercise tolerance and fluctuations in energy levels during the day,
  • have been advised by their treating doctor to follow a multidirectional therapeutic approach (pharmacotherapy, diet, exercise, work on sleep),
  • are under regular medical care and have up-to-date medical records and test results.
The infusion does not replace diabetological, endocrinological or any other forms of therapy prescribed by the doctor. It may be considered as part of a therapeutic plan.

How it works – step by step

  1. Contact with reception
The first step is to contact reception – by phone or via the contact form on the website. You will receive the key organisational information and a proposed date to begin the qualification process for the infusion.
  2. You complete a qualification form
Before the consultation, we ask you to complete a qualification form describing your symptoms, diagnosed conditions, medications you are taking and to attach test results (if you have them). This allows the doctor to make an initial assessment of the safety of using the intravenous infusion for metabolic disorders.
  3. Qualification and selection of the preparation and dosage by a physician (in the case of patients under 18 years of age)
During the qualification visit, the physician conducts a detailed medical interview, analyzes the medical documentation and test results. On this basis, they decide whether intravenous infusions for metabolic disorders are an appropriate form of support in your child’s situation. If you are over 18 years of age, the preparation is selected by a specialized nurse.
  4. Scheduling the infusion
After a positive qualification, a date is set for the intravenous infusion for metabolic disorders and, if needed, an outline plan for further visits. You will receive clear instructions on how to prepare for the infusion, the expected duration of your stay in the clinic and the recommendations that apply after the procedure is completed.
